I recently caught up with Greg Smith from Episode 28: Ground Fall At Calico Basin.

In the months since my knee surgery, I still cannot hike in the mountains, and my nerve damage hasn’t been improving. Since enjoying my typical backcountry adventure isn’t currently an option, this November and December my partner and I decided to reframe travel expectations by flying down to Peru to explore the country on motorcycles!

During my live follow-up interview, I was able to discuss the accident in more depth, this time from Kristin’s side of the story as the one who was pulled down the mountain and broke both of her legs. We also checked in on their recovery process, the mental toll of recovery (which I deeply relate to as someone who has been recovering from knee surgery), and answered listener questions.
